Certified Pharmacy Technician

Department: Retail Pharmacy
Status: On call; day shift. Possible rotating weekends.
Qualifications: National Pharmacy Technician certification is required within one year of hire. Valid drivers license required. Experience is preferred. Must be computer literate and have basic math and algebra skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Summary: Responsible for all elements of prescription/order processing under the supervision of a pharmacist. Includes drug filling/distributing processes, inventory management, order entry, and drug/chemo preparation (with proper training). Maintains impeccable standards of confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness. A major part of this position will be prescription delivery, and may also function as HME receptionist.

 Executive Director of Keweenaw Health Foundation

Department: Administration
Status: Part time, benefits eligible. 0.5 FTE or 40 hours per pay period.
Qualifications: Requires knowledge of foundation management normally acquired through completion of an advanced degree, or equivalent experience in an area appropriate to foundation operations. Must possess strategic leadership and philanthropic development skills and strong knowledge of development operations and its major components, with a special emphasis in major gifts implementation. Previous executive leadership experience required with a minimum of 5 years of documented development success. Must have excellent communication skills and successful experience in developing positive and trusting relationships with a diverse constituent base.
Summary: Provides the administrative leadership necessary to implement the strategic direction and operational management of the Foundation in raising significant resources to support the mission and identified health needs of the local community.

Speech Language Pathologist

Department: Speech Therapy
Status: Full time
Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology with certification (CCC-SLP) required. Must have or be eligible for MI licensure. BLS and one year experience in a health care setting are preferred.
Summary: Performs patient evaluations. Develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans to restore, compensate or adapt for loss of function. This is a new position and department; you’ll enjoy independence while at the same time work with an experienced, professional and friendly interdisciplinary team.
